Ideas/Inspiration =]

I watched the film Inception and found a lot of inspiration for our own film openings. I like the plot for Inception as I have never seen anything like it, the editing throughout the whole film is amazing as it looks so real and also it has Leonardo DiCaprio in it.

The plot is that Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the best at extraction which is stealing valuable secrets while they are in a dream state deep in their subconcious, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved, but Cobb is being offered freedom. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. The whole idea to me is fascinating of going into other peoples dreams and how the dream world works, I would like to at least forward this to my group when deciding our film opening.

Also the editing is really amazing as it looks real, there is a scene where the road goes into a 90 degree angle like it was making a box. For the length of the film you actually believe that it is all real that it can happen to anyone and you get so sucked in to the film. What I also like is that the whole film is filled with suspense and action not at any point do you want to fall asleep as you are afraid to miss one little thing. During Inception even though parts of the film are very serious and tense as they are trying to pull off the biggest and most dangerous heist ever but  there are very comical scenes. When the are showing the new girl 'the kick' one of the guys pushes the guy who is in a dream state any seeing the face as they just become conscious before they fully drop. Also at the beginning when Cobbs won't wake up the push his chair back but he falls into water. When I saw this film was going to come out I wanted to see it even more because Leonardo DiCaprio was in it so I now understand that they use these actors to get more people to go see the movie especially as Leonarado has been in a lot of well known films like Titanic.
